“Réseau ski partner” offers scholarships to 60 young skiers in Challes-les-eaux, in Savoie This Saturday, April 28, 2018 in Challes-les-Eaux, the “Réseau ski partner” association awarded around sixty scholarships to young people promising skiers in order to partly finance their upcoming season. The two Olympic champions Marie Bochet and Blaise Giezendanner were present. “We must not miss out on talent” explains Florence Masnada, double Olympic bronze medalist and vice-president of Réseau Ski Partenaire. This is why the RSP association provides financial assistance to young skiers to help them prepare for the future season. This Saturday, around sixty were given a check for 1,000 euros each during a ceremony in Challes-les-Eaux, in Savoie. Welcome help because skiing is a particularly expensive sport. “It will take some pressure off mom and dad, our main sponsors,” jokes Mathis. But beyond the financial aspect, the association also wants to create links. Marie Bochet, eight-time Olympic champion and Blaise Giezendanner 4th in the Super-G in PyeongChang 2018 had benefited from RSP scholarships before participating in the PyeongChang Olympics. They were present to share their experience with the young people.
In almost 10 years, Réseau Ski Partenaire has raised more than €300,000 to help young skiers finance their season For this tenth season and thanks to a new ski preparation campaign, Réseau Ski Partenaire (RSP) has the ambition to raise €20,000 to help 20 athletes between U16 and U18. The general meeting of the Réseau association took place in the presence of some of the members of the French handiski team and their coach Jeff Piccard. Ski Partner (RSP). “The opportunity to remobilize the vital forces, partners and volunteers, after a year and a half of health constraints” explains Laurent Hudry, key figure of RSP and well supported by his team. 302,500 euros in aid to families Created in 2012 thanks to a local network but with the participation of personalities from the skiing world such as Pierre Bornat and Dominique Mignot, the RSP association has been supporting young hopefuls in French skiing for 9 years. “Franck Piccard, Florence Masnada, Jean-Luc Crétier, Sébastien Amiez, Antoine Dénériaz have brought credibility to our mission of supporting young people by being true sponsors of our events dedicated to the general public” welcomes Laurent Hudry.
