Created in 1989, the rules of the Derby de la Meije are child's play: just go down from the top of the La Grave resort to the skiable limit as fast as your legs, your cardio or your audacity can allow you! This now legendary race is an opportunity for nearly 700 competitors from more than 20 different countries to meet and challenge each other on the legendary La Grave ski area, under the watchful eye of Queen Meije. A great end-of-season event to take part in mountain workshops, enjoy some great skiing and party.

One last weekend of celebration before the end of the season? It's happening in Val Thorens! Come and take off your skis for the final Grande Dernière of the winter season in Val Thorens, on May 3 and 4, 2025. On the program for this weekend: waterslide, barbecue, ski test, towed buoy, laser rifle... and many other free activities! We needed a major event to end the season in style! So, before closing the curtain on this season, pressing the OFF button on the ski lifts, putting your skis away in the cellar, are you up for waxing your skis one last time for the Grande Dernière?!

SKI SHOW Organized by the Annecy Semenoz ski club The Annecy Ski Pro Show is a special and important moment at the start of the Alpine Racing ski season in Haute-Savoie. All the biggest iconic brands are there to present their new products.

The winter season launch weekend in Val Thorens is an unmissable event for winter sports enthusiasts. It offers a variety of activities, introductions to different disciplines and a test village to discover the latest equipment from more than 50 brands. Festive entertainment, a quiz and gifts liven up the weekend. On Saturday evening, a Raclette Party awaits you, followed by the “Grande Première Séance”, a screening of mountain films.
